East Coast Kitchen Party: A New Years Eve Ceilidh

Scottish roots are strong in Canada’s Maritimes.  East Coasters know how to kick up their heels and party their socks off!  New Years Eve at Renaissance will be a celebration of the bounty of Atlantic Canada boosted by the lively tunes of Kingston’s Celtic Kitchen Party.  If you have never been to a Ceilidh this will be a memorable experience. You will be treated to a sumptuous 3-course Maritime-inspired menu (dinner is served early) with choices for starter and main course topped off with a complimentary glass of bubbly.  Live entertainment will be an important part of the evening with well-known sing-a-long tunes, Auld Lang Syne as we ring in 2025 and dancing!  See details  below and tickets will be available on line or by calling 613-530-2550.  We have tables available for groups of 2 to 20 in size.   Book early to avoid disappointment!

Buttery Seafood Chowder (no shellfish); or
4 Prince Edward Island Raw Oysters with accompanying Mignonette; or
Large Pasta Shells stuffed with Spinach, Lemon & Chève with Pesto

Main Course
Grilled Nova Scotia Lobster Tail with Brown Butter, Hericots Verts and Fettucine Alfredo; or
Prime Rib with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Hericots Verts; or
Braised Lamb Shank with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Hericots Verts; or
Basted Atlantic Salmon with Lemon & Dill,  Black Rice,  & Hericots Verts; or
Roasted Portobello Mushrooms & Chestnuts on a bed of Fettucine in a Green Sauce [VEGAN]

Dessert
Blueberry Grunt with Vanilla Ice Cream
